[i]flamingwingnut: Help my kitty!!

I know that most people watching this journal probably don't live anywhere near me, so this likely won't be aimed at you, but:

Would anyone in the London, or even Toronto Ontario area be able to take it a cat?
I got this cat back in March this year, and soon after was forced to give her up. My sister-in-law offered to take her for me, but now she is unable to keep her any longer.
I have asked everyone I can think of, I've checked with shelters, and tried kijiji, and have had no luck finding a home for this kitty.
She's about 9 months old. Black. Named Sega. She's had her shots, and has been dewormed. She needs to be spayed.
She is super friendly, gets along with people and animals.
She is such a great cat. I hate to have to get rid of her, I just want to find her a good home.
If anyone can help please let me know.

[i]plasticframes: Wii time

The decision has been made. We are getting Wii Fit Plus and Animal Crossing with our new Wii. Hooray! Unfortunately, Will is a purist, and we won't be able to open any of it until Christmas day. BOO.

We ate at Chicago Grill tonight. It was predictably greasy and kind of gross.

Going to R&J's tonight for BYOB party. They just announced on facebook today that they are engaged, but have been really engaged for several months. Tricksy!

[i]tanukitsune posting in [i]thebabygrind: Pun Dungeon: Billy The Kid

I’m pretty sure the Billy The Kid pun has been done to death, but having him chasing a Can Can dancer? I hope not? XP

So.... would anybody care if I stopped posting here? I know there are people still following this group, but lately this group has been deader than usual....

[i]cp_journalcomic: not teaching comics - sheeeeee-ra!

Our next-door neighbor is currently in the process of cleaning out his house. He's taken a real shine to my son and every couple of days, he catches us outside and gives us some kind of toy or book he's come across for Elliot to play with. A few weeks ago, he gave Elliot a bunch of Paint by Water books. I used to love these as a kid, but I haven't seen them very much in recent years.

One of the fun things about these books is that they're vintage 1980's. Included in the collection are Disney's The Fox and the Hound, Emmett Kelly (the sad creepy clown) and, much to my delight, She-Ra. Elliot and I painted a couple together when I was sick a few weeks ago.

Bow (who appears in both of these pictures) was sort of the Rhett Butler to She-Ra's Scarlet O'Hara. I always thought his costume was unbelievable feminine, but I never knew that he shot arrows with HEART tips until we did these paintings together. How unbelievably non-threatening! Especially when you consider that the OTHER side of a heart would make a perfect arrowtip! What was he thinking?!?!

[i]reidsrow: Tomorrow!

The box of The Complete HMM Volume 1 has arrived! Despite some printing problems, I'll have a few available at the DIY Trunk Show tomorrow from 10-5 at the Pulaski Park Auditorium in Chicago. Wendy and I will be at Booth 18. Come on down and say Hi, get a sketch and start your holiday shopping. I would like to see you.
